Trading Review
What were the three "c's" that Jeff taught you yesterday?
Laura, if you are talking about the picture above, you are right: that is a Native American village. In this case, it's a Mandan village painted by an artist named George Catlin. He painted it in about 1833. Even though that's a long time after Lewis and Clark were in North Dakota, Catlin saw many of the same things seen by the Captains.
Those of you who have said, "Consistent, Convenient, and Coincidence" are ABSOULTELY CORRECT! Good work to all of you...and good spelling to most of you, too (those are not easy words to spell!)
There are quite a few lodges in that picture, but in a whole village there would be many more. Let's say that fifteen people lived in EACH LODGE. If 1,500 (or, said another way, fifteen hundred) people lived in the ENTIRE VILLAGE, how many lodges would that village have?
